Factory Original Equipment on many new vehicles Philips D2R bulbs have perfect aim and brightenss and the quality you can only get from Philips. The Philips D2R Plus has a 10% higher light output then the standard Philips D2S bulb.

When replacing HID bulbs it is highly recommended that you replace both bulbs. As HID bulbs age they slowly colorshift (change color usually to a more bluish white) and lose brightness. Replacing both bulbs will ensure that they match in color and in brightness. You should keep the old still working bulb as a spare incase you need it in the future.
