When replacing D1S HID bulbs it is highly recommended that you replace both D1S bulbs. As D1S HID bulbs age they slowly colorshift (change color usually to a more bluish white) and lose brightness. Replacing both D1S HID bulbs will ensure that they match in color and in brightness. You should keep the old still working D1S bulb as a spare incase you need it in the future.
